Why Sellers Are Ready to Return to the Market

The big question in real estate right now is “When will sellers return to the housing market?”

And a valid question it is at that! Buyer have been having the hardest time finding housing let alone winning bids on them, but there is light at the end of this dark houseless tunnel!

As the economy continues to improve, and more people feel safe returning to their normal lives more sellers may finally be in sight. Fannie Mae says that the percentage of people willing to sell their homes have increased from 61% to 67%.

They believe one-in-ten homeowners plans to sell this year, with 63 percent of those, looking to list in the next 6 months. And as if we needed even better news, close to two-thirds of seller’s plan to sell their homes at prices under $350,000, which would tremendously help first-time buyers.

To sum it up, buyers there will be homes for you sooner rather than later, it is just going to take a little time and patience!
